The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) stand out the wit and entrepreneurship of the Peruvian artisans that, despite the economic impact caused by the covid-19 in the Peruvian economy, have stand out with new creations.
Despite the threat of the quarantine, artisans have come to the understanding that the best way to face this reality that strikes to all the world, is through the reinvention without losing their identity.

Masks nowadays have turned into an indispensable piece for all the people. The artisans viewed an opportunity of business and made artistic masks with creative designs of the traditional and Peruvian popular art.
Altarpiece artist from Ayacucho, have created original masks with designs and colors inspired on this beautiful art.

The hard situation has been a source of inspiration for many artisans who, through their work, portray the experiences of thousands of Peruvians in this pandemic, and the people whose sacrifice have made history in the country.
